David Muldowny, MD, is one of our skilled orthopedic surgeons and spine specialists practicing at Lafayette Bone & Joint Clinic. His mission is to provide personal, comprehensive orthopedic care to the patients in South Louisiana.

A native of Knoxville, Tennessee, Dr. Muldowny graduated from the University of Tennessee and the Baylor College of Medicine in Texas. He pursued post-graduate studies at the Tulane University School of Medicine and is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgeons as well as the American Board of Spine Surgery. To stay up to date with the latest advancements in medicine, Dr. Muldowny is a current member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the North American Spine Society, the Louisiana State Medical Society, the Lafayette Parish Medical Society, and the Acadiana Orthopaedic Association. Balancing his professional life with family responsibilities, Dr. Muldowny dedicates his time to both his medical practice and nurturing a loving home environment with his wife and four children.
